As I was getting ready for an event a few weeks ago, I realized that I always have certain items that are my “go to’s”, that I add to an outfit when I want to feel confident or maybe a little sexy. After chatting with a few friends and coworkers, it appears that I’m not alone. Here are a few essentials that the ladies of the HFS team dubbed as their “Sexy and I know It” items…
“So I chose this dress because anything, whether a dress or shorts, that shows off my legs makes me feel sexy. Add some awesome boots, red nail polish, peachy-pink lip color and a cute necklace to make me feel confident. This would be my overall look that makes me feel sexy and confident. :) ” - Kristina
“When I’m looking for something to put on that makes me feel sexy and confident, I reach for a strand of pearls. I learned in college that anything can be dressed up with a good strand of pearls, and of course, your favorite heels. From jeans and a t-shirt, to the infamous little black dress, pearls help make that pop I’m looking for. I’ve gotten a lot of compliments on them, and while they may seem old fashioned, it’s amazing how many of my friends went out and bought pearls.” - Alyson
“It was really hard to narrow it down to a few items (my shoes, makeup and earring collection is a tad ridiculous!), but if I had to name just a few I would say these ADORABLE wedges, my favorite red lip gloss (there’s something automatically sexy about red lips!) and some fun earrings. I’ve received compliments on all three of these items at various events, and for me, compliments always boost my confidence.” - Becky
